Obituary for KENNETH KELLEY

KENNETH KELLEY was born in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, November 18, 1939, to the union of Robert Kelley, Sr. and Maude B. Richardson Kelley. He served in the United States Army for four years and received an honorable discharge. Kenneth was employed with the City of Columbus for over 20 years. He served as the patriarch of the family to his daughter, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and many great nephews and nieces. He was honorably known as “Uncle Kenney” or “Kenny Kelley.” Mr. Kenneth Kelley departed this life on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Phyllis Ann Kelley, Jacqueline H. Spotts, Robert Kelley, Jr., Grady Richard Kelley, and Nancy Jean Kelley; and his beautiful daughter, Kennetha M. Kelley. He leaves to mourn his daughter, Katrina Kelley-Tilley; loving nephew who was like a son, Michael Spotts and his wife, Stacey Spotts, who both served as his final caregivers; grandchildren, Marquis Williams, Markia Williams, and Minister Leonard Tilley; nephews, Anthony and Darryl Kelley; nieces, Leticia Kelley, Vickie (Kim), Deb (Kevin), Casie, Pat, and Arlene; many other family members and loving friends.
