LUCILLE ELIZABETH CROY was born Friday, June 1, 1928, in Danville, Virginia. She was called home on Thursday, March 2, 2017, in Columbus, Ohio. Lucille was a retired seamstress and later worked as a home child care provider. Lucille’s favorite hobbies were gardening and cooking. Lucille was a loving mother and had a special bond with all of her children. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She was the MOM of the neighborhood and her home was known as the place everyone would visit. Lucille is survived by her husband, Clarence Croy, Sr.; children, Louise, Gerri (George) Michael, Susie, Eddie, Annabelle, Florine, and Clarence Jr.; twenty grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; and a countless number of surrogate children.
