Obituary for JAMES JEWEL THOMAS

Rev. James J. Thomas born in Atchison, Kansas, son of the late Connie Thompson Bogard, also preceded in death by grandmother Bertha Howard Thompson, sister Lani, uncles Vincent (Nicki, still living) Thompson and Charles Thompson. Survived by wife, Shirley Thomas; sister, Vicki; uncle, Rev. John Henry Thomas; aunts, Rose Thompson, Betty (Frederick) Wilson, Lottie (James) Dunham, Callie (Rev. Winn) Winn, Deborah (John) Pyles; and a host of relatives and friends. James was a musician who played bass and answered his call to preach. He had a cable television show called " Free in Jesus" and wrote books of spiritual guidance and healing.
